With the lower earnings limit set to be removed, every employee will be eligible for SSP from the first day of absence. Assyst even automates the correspondence that HR can send to staff via the app filing it against the staff records in the process. Brief History and Vision

Assyst Workforce Management are based just south of Cambridge in the UK. The business was created by its current CEO and Founder, Stuart Felstead with over 30 years experience in service based businesses.

He originally created Assyst in 2015 as there were limited options available to simplify the way large teams capture and manage payroll data. This was driven by a need to improve accuracy and move away from manual processes and spreadsheets. Since then, lots of new features have been added which solve the issues many other software providers have failed to do at a price point many can afford. In doing so, we have created a system that stands on its own, in its own space.

The aim was to produce a system that was easy to use, accurate and flexible enough to support growing organisations that operate across multiple sites or large teams, ensuring staff information is held securely, but giving instant access to users. With both a mobile application for staff as well as an advanced internal desktop application for Head Office, they combine to provide excellent functionality and efficiency across your business.

One of the key objective was that the platform needed to be versatile and being able to be the hub of a business sharing information with other software and be able to have handle new requests by clients who need it to do something more unique for them. The latest version of Assyst launches in January 2026 which see a number of new features and improved functionality across the system and we are excited to work with businesses looking for an comprehensive but affordable system to drive them forward.
